Aaron Rodgers is taking a shot as his famous exes.
The NFL star opens up about his tumultuous relationship with fame in his new Netflix docuseries Aaron Rodgers: Enigma. And he partially blames that troublesome situation on his exes!!

While talking about the acclaim he amassed from playing as the Green Bay Packers’ quarterback — particularly after the team won the Super Bowl and he was crowned MVP back in 2011 — he explained in the doc:
“I always find it interesting when people say, in reference to the off-the-field attention, ‘Well, this is what you signed up for.’ I say f**k that, I never signed up for that. I signed up for football because I love the game and I got great at it because I’m hyper-competitive and super-motivated.”
Right, right. But then he went and dated Olivia Munn, Danica Patrick, and Shailene Woodley back-to-back-to-back! Like, come on, dude! You knew damn well that they were all super-famous women!
Regarding that point, Rodgers then continued:
“But there’s this whole other part that comes with it that’s a lot of great stuff and a lot of f**king weird stuff. I didn’t do myself any favors with some of the girls I dated after that that were in the public eye.”
Ouch!
As we know, Aaron had a major falling out with his family while he was involved in his relationship with Olivia. His parents say it was because of her, but he denied that… and yet tensions were only heightened by them both being in the public eye.
Plus, we all know how his on-again, off-again relationship with Shailene played out. She’s sure been open about what a toll it took on her. Maybe Aaron just envisioned a quieter life for himself? Hmmm.
Nevertheless, he added even more in the doc:
“I definitely hated [fame] at first — like, really despised it. I enjoyed my private life. I enjoyed being able to go places. But from Super Bowl MVP, MVP, State Farm commercials, that got a little bit more difficult.”
Huh?! He despises fame, and yet here he is talking about how much he hates it, uh, in a docuseries entirely focused on him that is airing on the biggest streaming platform out there. Make it make sense!!!
