British-born Australian actress Magda Szubanski took a proud and inspiring stance on national television, standing up for legalizing gay marriage everyone and coming out as a proud gay woman herself!
In an emotional and inspiring interview, Magda shared with the world her feelings about being gay and find ways to have the community more accepted worldwide. She shared:
“I absolutely identify as gay … and it must be hard for people who don’t experience it to know what the pressures of being gay are. When you are forced into this position you almost feel that you have to choose, you just want to give of yourself.”

Magda shared that she has already come out to her family and closest friends, so this moment of making her private life public is just for the good of the task at hand – making gay marriage legal. And what a wonderful way of showing her support!
