Adam Ernster's Advice For Avoiding Halloween Candy Calories

Halloween Candy Temptation
October is quickly ending, which means Halloween is quickly approaching!
While we could’t be more excited to begin planning our costumes for one of our favorite holidays, we’re already fearing the temptation to gorge on mountains upon mountains of candy!
This is one of the worst times of the year to be sticking to a healthy diet, but thankfully, FitPerez contributor and celebrity trainer Adam Ernster has some solutions!
Check out his best advice for resisting Halloween candy calories below!

“Ok here├óΓé¼Γäós my fitness advice for all you Halloween goers. Let├óΓé¼Γäós be honest, it all comes down to candy doesn├óΓé¼Γäót it? At least it does for me. Confession: I like candy. Ok that├óΓé¼Γäós a lie. I LOVE candy. I├óΓé¼Γäóve been eying those 5lb bags of assorted SweeTarts/Nerds and etc for month. Problem is, if I buy one under the guise that it├óΓé¼Γäós for the little trick-or-treaters in my building that would, again, be a lie. Not a chance one piece will be left and on the big day I├óΓé¼Γäóll be huddled in a corner completely hyperglycemic, ignoring the knocks of all the costumed kiddies looking for what was rightfully theirs.
So what to do? For one, buy stuff you don├óΓé¼Γäót like. I├óΓé¼Γäóm not a big chocolate guy, so there├óΓé¼Γäós only so much damage a 5lb bag of Snickers can do. You can go the healthy option and give apples (no razors please) but your chances of getting egged/TP├óΓé¼Γäód are good. Get bags of the mini-packaged stuff. This goes for every snack really, including nuts. If you├óΓé¼Γäóre faced with a bowl of M&Ms vs a small portion bag you have no idea how many you├óΓé¼Γäóre eating and trust me, it├óΓé¼Γäós ALWAYS more than you think. Lastly, WALK don├óΓé¼Γäót drive. Stay safe and have fun guys.”
