To be honest, we’re not even surprised.
Adam Sandler‘s movie Jack and Jill, co-starring Al Pacino and Katie Holmes, has so far received a ZERO PERCENT rating on the Rotten Tomatoes website, basically meaning it’s the worst-reviewed of 2011, and probably one of the worst-reviewed films of all time.
It’s currently tied with Bucky Larson: Born To Be A Star, another Happy Madison production, and the Sarah Palin documentary The Undefeated as having the lowest percentage ever.
Hmm, that’s some pretty stiff and, yeah, well, pretty pathetic competition right there.
Rolling Stone critic Peter Travers wrote a scathing review:

“On a scale of 1 to 10 on the laugh meter, Jack and Jill is a negative 10. A total bust, a stupefyingly unfunny and shamelessly lazy farce packed with cringe-worthy jokes and overt product placement.”

And Time Magazine’s Mary Pols wrote:

“More than 24 hours has passed since I watched the new Adam Sandler movie, and I’m still dead inside.”

Oh. Wow. There couldn’t possibly be a worse review of the film.
Sorry, Katie. Looks like another dud for you.
