Thursday marks the 1-year anniversary of one the fire at Grenfell Tower, a tragedy that claimed over 70 lives.
London native Adele has been supportive from that very night, when she comforted survivors outside the building — then brought cake to the firefighters who stopped the blaze.
So it’s no surprise the Hello singer joined the commemoration service in paying tribute to those lost.

And despite her severely damaged vocal chords she joined in with the choir of survivors to sing Bill Withers‘ classic Lean On Me.
