Adele Pays Tribute To The Late Amy Winehouse On What Would've Been Her 33rd Birthday

Amy Winehouse is still greatly missed, especially by her famous fans!
On Wednesday, Adele took to Instagram to wish the late soul singer well on what would’ve been her 33rd birthday. As you may recall, Miz Winehouse died in her London home back in July 2011 due to alcohol poisoning.

Although the music icon may be gone, she clearly hasn’t been forgotten as the Hello artist posted:

Aww! It’s no secret that Adele has been a longtime fan of Amy’s as she credited the late Back to Black performer as her inspiration to become a musician in 2008. In fact, the two A-listers even attended the Brit School together, but the mother-of-one didn’t know Winehouse that well.
Regardless, the 28-year-old certainly loved Amy as she gushed to Vice‘s i-D back in November:

“A million percent, if I hadn’t heard Frank this wouldn’t have happened. I loved [Amy] and I went through my own massive grieving process as her fan.”
