Adele Compares Herself To Amy Winehouse & Talks Posing For Playboy In Her Makeup-Free Rolling Stone Cover Story!

If it wasn’t already clear, she certainly has good taste.
Adele is just two weeks away from releasing her third studio album, 25, and to gear up for what’s going to be the biggest pop culture moment of the year, she’s saying hello to practically every outlet!
In her most recent interview with Rolling Stone, the now-27-year-old comes clean — both literally and figuratively — as she takes off her makeup and opens up about her career being her hobby, not her life.

And while she claims that her three-year absence since she won an Oscar for Skyfall has left her out of the loop when it comes to what’s current, her love for certain artists would certainly beg to differ.
In fact, Adele seems to have some #SquadGoals of her own and is actually quite fond of Rihanna, saying:

“I’ve heard about a ‘squad’. I wish my squad was all supermodels. We are, in our brains. I guess I have my own squad. It’s not as interesting as some of the other squads that are around right now. But maybe Rihanna can be in my squad! That would be really cool. Oh, God. She’s life itself, isn’t she? I love her.

But RiRi isn’t the only R&B singer on Adele’s radar, because she’s a huge Frank Ocean fan as well!

I’m just f*cking waiting for Frank f*cking Ocean to come out with his album. It’s taking so f*cking long… That sounds so stupid, coming from me, doesn’t it?”

As long as you both make good on these promises of new music, we can’t complain!

But she wasn’t just there to goof off, Adele also got serious about the fear that comes with fame, citing Amy Winehouse‘s tragic passing as an eye-opener for her, saying:

“People think I hate being famous. And I don’t. I’m really frightened of it. I think it’s really toxic, and I think it’s really easy to be dragged into it. Watching Amy deteriorate is one of the reasons I’m a bit frightened. We were all very entertained by her being a mess. I was f*cking sad about it, but if someone showed me a picture of her looking bad, I’d look at it. If we hadn’t looked, then they’d have stopped taking her picture. That level of attention is really frightening, especially if you don’t live around all that showbiz stuff.”

But how does the mother-of-one deal with the constant scrutiny that comes with the spotlight? For one thing, she’s good with some things staying private.
For instance, her body:

“Would I show my body off if I was thinner? Probably not, because my body is mine. But sometimes I’m curious to know if I would have been as successful if I wasn’t plus-size. I think I remind everyone of themselves. Not saying everyone is my size, but it’s relatable because I’m not perfect, and I think a lot of people are portrayed as perfect, unreachable and untouchable.
I’ve been asked, ├óΓé¼╦£Would you do Playboy?’ so many f*cking times, it’s ridiculous. Is that because I’m a woman or because I’m fat?”

Just another example of Adele being the perfect role model!
