She’s gone blonde y’all!!
Alanis Morissette has dyed her iconic brunette locks a lighter shade and committed to a serious chop job, per her Instagram on Wednesday.
The singer uploaded the (above) picture, with the thrilling caption:
“new hair. girl needed to have a little fun 😉 ps– blondes are, in fact, treated differently. this is one of the many effects of work addiction recovery 🙂 #spontaneity #easybreezy #makeupforlosttime #healing”
The healing and recovery she’s referring to is probably due to her recent admittance of developing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from her early experiences with fame.
We will miss her long tresses but are totally happy she’s ecstatic about the mane change and life confidence! You go girl!
