Amanda Bynes Appears To Have A New Face Tattoo And It's... Lopsided?? Look!

It appears Amanda Bynes is stepping into the New Year with some fresh ink!

On the last Monday of 2019, the former All That star took to Instagram and shared a selfie where she appears to have a surprising new heart tattoo on her cheek. After debuting both pink and blue hair at different points this year, it’s clear there’s no hesitation in switching things up from time to time!

Although the tattoo’s placement on Amanda’s mug suggests it’s meant to be noticed, it’s actually a tad lopsided! We can’t help but wonder if it’s temporary, or if this was intentionally meant to appear imperfect as love can be sometimes?

But we’re grasping for straws here since the former child star left us little to no details about it, aside from a single alien emoji in the caption of her post. The comments are also turned off, so there’s no chance of finding any additional info there, either.

Regardless, the 33-year-old is now in famous company when it comes to face ink. Back in January, Justin Bieber revealed his dainty facial design — the word “grace” written in script just beside one of his eyebrows. And of course, there’s the new king in this category — Aaron Carter; the I Want Candy singer seriously pushed the limit this summer when he added a giant Medusa-inspired tat to his appearance amid ongoing family and personal drama.

Which brings us to our next point!

This cosmetic update comes just a few weeks after Amanda checked out of a sober living facility and reportedly started living with her parents in Los Angeles. The star had been receiving treatment for ongoing mental health issues after suffering multiple drug relapses this year.

Additionally, after earning her associate’s degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise (FIDM), the former TV starlet halted her plans to pursue another academic accolade until further notice.

As a source recently revealed to E! News:

“She dropped out of the FIDM bachelor degree program she enrolled in… [and] is not working. She has access to her money so she’s financially independent. [And she is] not doing drugs again, though that is always the concern.”

In regards to the future of her personal affairs, the insider added:

“She may not go back [to the facility], but again, she’s not doing drugs and mentally and physically she’s okay. She does not have to go back but it’s unclear what’s going to happen. She is open to getting help. In court her parents were reassured that she’s doing well and okay and that everything is back on track.”
