Amanda Bynes Shares Weight Loss Update After Gaining ‘Over 20lbs’ Due To Depression

Amanda Bynes has a weight loss update — she’s working hard!

On Tuesday, the Easy A alum took to Instagram to rave about a fitness win: she’s dropped a few pounds! The 38-year-old shared a screenshot of her step-counting app, which shows she walked 14,895 steps that day. She wrote:

“Down 6lbs! 154lbs now”

Good for her! This all comes after the She’s the Man star revealed a battle with depression in March, which she said at the time led her to gain a bit:

“I’ve gained over 20lbs in the past few months from being depressed.”

We hear ya. What a girl wants some weeks is to lay in bed all day…

Amanda said her mental health was improving, though — which is far more important than the number on the scale! That said, with her rising confidence, she does have an ambitious weight loss goal:

“I’m doing a lot better now and have learned to do opposite action when I don’t feel like working out or eating clean. I weigh 162lbs right now and want to get back to 110lbs”

Well, she’s clearly sticking to her guns! We hope to see her continue to prioritize both her physical and mental health.
