We’re so excited for America Ferrera!
As we reported, the 33-year-old announced on New Year’s Eve that she and her longtime husband, Ryan Piers Williams, are expecting their first child! Amazing!
Appearing on her first talk show since the big reveal, the Superstore actress chatted with Stephen Colbert about baby names, that Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants reunion, and her work with the #TIMESUP campaign.

While the gender remains publicly unknown, the Ugly Betty star did say she will NOT be naming her child “after a land mass or an idea” like hers. LOLz!
She explained:
“I love my name now but growing up with the name America is not easy. I don’t want to put that on my child because I know what that feels like so I’m going to go with something that is more a name.”
Ha, that makes sense!
