America's Next Top Model Saved From Cancellation -- On A Brand New Network With A Brand New Host!

no title
One day you’re in, and the next day… you’re still in?
We were surprised — but not too saddened — when we originally found out that America’s Next Top Model had been cancelled by The CW after 22 cycles.
The modeling competition suffered a serious drop in quality once it introduced public voting in Season 19, so we felt as though leaving on a high note with Nyle DiMarco as the final winner was a good end for the iconic reality TV show.

Well… it seems as though we were wrong, because despite abysmal ratings, VH1 has decided to give ANTM a second chance at life by snatching it up from the CW’s trash with a 14-episode pickup.
Tyra Banks confirmed the news in a statement on Tuesday, saying:

“After creating an incredible, global brand, I am beyond excited to have the show reborn. I will continue as Executive Producer, but must turn my attention to new business endeavors, so I want to find a new host. I’m pumped to identify that person and bring back the show. Top Model fans, you demanded that the show come back, and VH1 answered the call. Get ready for a ‘fierce-a-fied’ rebirth!”

It wouldn’t be a Tyra Mail without an unnecessary portmanteau, that’s for sure.
Tyra will be joined by fellow former Executive Producer Ken Mok, but there’s no word yet on who will serve as host or be on the judging panel.
Are U one of the dozens of fans excited that ANTM is getting a 23rd cycle??
