After much thought and consideration, the family of the late Amy Winehouse have regrettably decided to place Amy’s beloved London home on the market.
The three-bedroom pad, located in the Camden neighborhood, was where Amy passed away from alcohol poisoning just last July.
The property is now up for sale for 2.7 million pounds, equalling out to $4.2 million, and boasts many gardens and vaulted ceilings (below).
A spokesperson for the Amy’s family, Chris Goodman said:
“It was not practical to keep it empty while paying the costs of its upkeep.├óΓé¼┬¥
Goodman also went on to say that the Winehouse family felt it was “inappropriate for any of them to live there,” which also helped them reach their decision.
The listing has already generated much buzz but the agency selling the home is using discretion to help distinguish fans from actual buyers.
We can only imagine how hard this decision must’ve been for the Winehouse family and send them nothing but comforting thoughts at this time.
We miss you, Amy.
