Oh no!
As we first mentioned last month, Andrew Lloyd Webber has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and, luckily for him, they caught it early enough and he underwent surgery to remove his prostate 3 weeks ago.
But on Tuesday night the musical genius was rushed to the hospital after developing a postoperative infection.
A statement was posted on the composer’s website saying:
“Andrew has been re-admitted to hospital following his operation for prostate cancer. He has been advised that while the operation was entirely successful, he has developed a post-operative ├óΓé¼┼ôchronic infection├óΓé¼┬¥ which needs immediate treatment.”
A friend close to Andrew says the medical problem “is not too serious” and all Webber wants to do is get back home.
Let’s hope for a speedy recovery!
