Andy Murray Fights The Good Fight! Watch Him Call Out A Reporter For Overlooking Accomplishments Of Female Tennis Players!

Andy Murray continues to prove why it’s important for males to be allies in the fight for women’s equality.
Just after losing to American player Sam Querrey at Wimbledon on Wednesday, the 30-year-old British athlete was quick to call out a journalist who overlooked the accomplishments of players like Serena and Venus Williams, who played in the semi-finals today.

When the reporter referred to Querrey as “the first US player to reach a major semi-final since 2009,” Murray immediately quipped and later repeated:

“Male player.”
