Andy Samberg is certainly an odd gift giver!
On Friday, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to chat a bit about what it’s like to receive gifts from the funnyman. In fact, the Saturday Night Live alum revealed what he got for his wife Joanna Newsom for their last two anniversaries.

In case you forgot, Andy married Miz Newsom in September 2013 after dating for five years. Whoa!
Unfortunately, this doesn’t mean he’s particularly gifted at giving presents. The 37-year-old noted that previously he purchased his wife a Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer sweatshirt and a piece of paper that said Joanna could buy the table she wanted. How romantic?
