It’s been another amazing year at the box office — you know, for movies about superheroes!
But otherwise, even some of the most anticipated blockbusters severely underperformed in the box office!
Despite being a mockumentary solely about spoofing Justin Bieber, Andy Samberg‘s POPSTAR: Never Stop Never Stopping fell flat, and well├óΓé¼┬ª stopped stopping right in theaters.
Speaking of big screen duds from SNL alumni — Tina Fey‘s war-zone dramedy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot also flew under the radar in a year of superheroes, and unfortunately became another box office bomb.
And not even Sacha Baron Cohen‘s action comedy The Brothers Grimsby was able to make decent earnings in a post-Borat world! Yeesh!
