Yet ANOTHER Jolie-Pitt child has made a bold statement against their father! Shortly after Maddox began the legal legwork to drop estranged father Brad Pitt‘s last name, his younger sister Zahara has officially followed suit! On Monday, TMZ obtained court docs revealing the Brangelina kid has checked off a California state requirement in legally changing one’s name: taking out an ad in the Los Angeles Daily Journal to announce her decision!

According to state law, individuals looking to legally change their name are required to publish an Order to Show Cause in a local newspaper for four consecutive weeks prior to said individual’s court date in order to allow anyone opposing the decision to formally object. According to the outlet, Zahara and Maddox both began running their ads last month and have now crossed the four-week requirement. As of now, Zahara’s court date is scheduled for September 28.
An insider close to Brad told the outlet he believes Angelina is behind the ever growing rift between him and the six children they share together, including Maddox, 24 Pax, 22, Zahara, 21 Shiloh, 20, and 18-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. As we previously reported, Shiloh legally dropped Pitt from her name in 2024, following a similar process as Zahara and Maddox. Additionally, Knox and Vivienne have also informally stopped using Pitt.
Zahara, who graduated from Spelman College earlier this year, was notably announced at the ceremony as Zahara Marley Jolie. As for Maddox, he ditched Pitt in his credits on Angelina’s new movie Couture.
