Hmm, okaaaay. This could be interesting.
The now former Congressman Anthony Weiner was asked by Entourage producers to do a cameo for the show’s upcoming eighth and final season.
No word on whether or not he would play himself, but executive producer Doug Ellin had also asked Charlie Sheen to appear after the actor’s meltdown. Fortunately for all of us, Sheen never responded to the producer’s request.
BUT, at least Charlie is an actor. Weiner doesn’t have the acting chops and it might just look like some pathetic ploy to get ratings. Although, in all fairness, he was pretty good at fooling everybody when he lied about releasing scandalous pics of him on Twitter.
Maybe he has a shot at the HBO show after all.
