A$AP Rocky is celebrating his release from Swedish detainment with The Man in the White Robe — AKA Kanye West.
After spending the past month living in reported “inhumane conditions” at a Stockholm detention center, the 30-year-old rapper was spotted attending Yeezy’s most recent Sunday Service event that takes place each week in California.
Video clips shared to social media show Rocky chatting and laughing with A$AP Ferg and Kanye’s sister-in-law Kendell Jenner, whom the L$D performer was romantically linked to in 2017. Ch-ch-check it out (below):
As we reported, the rapper (real name Rakim Mayers) touched down in the U.S. Saturday morning after taking a flight straight from Stockholm District Court, where he underwent the final day of his assault trial on Friday.
An official verdict has yet to be determined, but the Harlem native was granted a reprieve from prison and allowed to travel home to the States while judges in his case decide whether he’s guilty or innocent. Either way, Rocky is very much ecstatic to be back on U.S. soil: he was photographed with a huge grin on his face as he exited a private jet he’d taken overnight from the Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

It’s no surprise Rocky was giving thanks at the Church of Ye not even a day later, as Kanye and Kim Kardashian West both reportedly played crucial roles in his release.
Sources said Kimye had initially made attempts to help free their friend shortly after Rocky was put in custody on July 2, using their connections to the White House to appeal to Donald Trump amid the star’s investigation.
Last month, POTUS tweeted about how his chat with Ye inspired him to call the “very talented” prime minister of Sweden to help the rapper. Trump’s involvement was initially said to have hurt Rocky’s legal situation, but it evidently may have helped in the long run.

The performer was arrested for suspected assault following a street altercation involving a 19-year-old man named Mustafa Jafari.
The rapper pleaded not guilty in court, claiming he was trying to download an app to use an electric scooter when Jafari approached his bodyguard. Rocky alleged he and his crew tried to walk away from the local, but were followed by Jafari and his friend.
He said in court, per CNN:
“At this point, we are really scared. I saw my security guard being cut, bleeding. We didn’t know what to expect with these strangers — I’m not from Sweden, so it was really scary. I wanted to go straight to the hotel for safety. I didn’t want this to happen.”
What followed were multiple physical altercations between the groups in the streets of Stockholm. Local public prosecutor Daniel Suneson accused the rapper of throwing Jafari on the ground before he and two members of his crew beat him while he was down.
Jafari also claimed he was hit on the back with a bottle, but the artist’s team argued there is no evidence to prove that.
Rocky has no plans to return to the Scandinavian country, regardless of how his verdict may come down. We think we know what he was praying for on Sunday.
