Ashleigh Banfield is FED UP!
As we reported, a woman with the pseudonym of “Grace” spoke to babe about an incident involving Aziz Ansari which she calls “the worst experience with a man [she has] ever had.” Specifically, the photographer is accusing the Masters of None star of pressuring her into performing several sexual acts even though she “was physically giving off cues that [she] wasn’t interested.”

On Monday, the comedian released a statement labeling the encounter as “completely consensual.”
That same day, the host of HLN‘s Crime & Justice is calling BS on Grace’s story, and believes she is actually hurting the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements.
Banfield exclaimed during a segment:
“By your own clear description, this wasn’t a rape, nor was it a sexual assault. By your description, your sexual encounter was unpleasant… You have chiseled away at a movement that I, along with all of my sisters in the workplace, have been dreaming of for decades. A movement that has finally changed an oversexed professional environment that I, too, have struggled through at times over the last 30 years in broadcasting… The #MeToo movement has righted a lot of wrongs and it has made your career path much smoother… What a gift. Yet, you looked that gift horse in the mouth and chiseled away at that powerful movement with your public accusation.”
