Beauty lines are the new clothing lines!
Ashley Tisdale‘s Illuminate collection is almost ready to hit stores, and in a recent interview the former High School Musical alum dishes on some of her best beauty tips.

On her signature look: “I love the beachy, bronzy look with a good cat-eye.”
On her fave lip color:
“It all really depends. Coral, peachy lip glosses are perfect for the day, which is why I added those colors to my Illuminate collection. When I’m short on time and in a rush, I’ll add a quick touch of mascara and a bold dark lip, which easily sophisticates a wardrobe.”
On bronzer vs. blush:
“I’m so torn between the two, but I’d have to say bronzer. You can get away with just bronzer, but you can’t do just blush. I like to bronze it up!”
Her best beauty tip:
“Get a lot of sleep. It’s easier said than done, but it makes all the difference.”
Her current must-haves:
“Beautyblender, the cream and cheek blush products in my Illuminate collection. It’s a two-in-one, so it’s so convenient. Also, I love the beach goddess or night owl depending on the time of day, plus it has everything├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥blush to contour to highlighter.”
On gel polish vs. regular polish:
“I’d say that gel nail polish gel is overrated and regular nail polish is underrated. Everyone is all about gel, but it’s actually unhealthy for you with all the UV rays hitting your skin. Plus, it’s such a process trying to remove them.”
Makeup at the gym?
“No makeup is the way to go.”
She definitely seems to know what she’s talking about!
