Aubrey Plaza has broken her silence on her pregnancy!
In a new episode of the SmartLess podcast with hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett, out behind a paywall on Monday, the Parks and Recreation alum spilled all the tea about her pregnancy!
As Perezcious readers know, last week, People confirmed the actress is expecting her first child with partner Christopher Abbott. While she’s been very hush-hush about the romance and bun in the oven, it seems she’s ready to share all! On the podcast, she told the hosts:
“Well, there’s a baby inside of me. No, I said there is a baby inside of me right now.”

They were shocked and said they were so “excited” for her, prompting the 41-year-old to reveal she’d just had an ultrasound on that day. She teased:
“Today was a big day. I went to the doctor’s today, and my dog also went to the doctor’s. And both of us — my dog’s getting a scan right now. I got a scan earlier. I’m not kidding.”
She added:
“She had to get an ultrasound on her stomach. And then I got an ultrasound on my stomach, and there is a baby in there.”
LOLz!
When asked if she’s “excited” about becoming a momma, she gushed:
“I am. Yeah. I’ve always wanted, I’ve always wanted, I’ve always wanted to see what that’s all about, you know? It just seems so interesting, that whole thing.”
Aww!!
Per People, she is due in the fall. A lot to look forward to until she welcomes the little one! And it comes after the really emotional loss of her husband Jeff Baena in January 2025 (though they’d been separated for a few months before then). We wish her nothing but the best during the rest of her pregnancy and journey into motherhood!
