Reportedly, Barbra Streisand recently signed a $30 million contract with Sony…and the label has BIG plans for the 70 year old legend!
Remember when Tony Bennett released a duets album back in 2011, featuring collaborations with artists like the late Amy Winehouse, Mariah Carey and Carrie Underwood?
Well, now it sounds like Babs might soon be following suit and kickin’ it in the studio with the youngsters!
A report reveals:
Streisand has been approached by label execs to record an album of duets with young, hip artists, including Adele and Rihanna. Industry sources say the move would aim to [boost] Babs’ appeal with more youthful record buyers beyond core Streisand fans.

And an Adele/Babs collab as well??? Color us intrigued!
We think this would be a great way to get younger generations acquainted with the AHmazingness that is the legendary Barbra!!!
