Ben Stiller & Beastie Boys' Ad-Rock Lead Protest After MCA's Memorial Was Defaced With Pro-Trump Graffiti & Swastikas! See What They Said!

no title
You gotta fight for your right… to not have swastikas spray painted on children’s parks, apparently.
Last week, an unknown Donald Trump supporter defaced a memorial park in honor of late Beastie Boys rapper Adam Yauch (aka MCA) with swastika graffiti, along with the words “Go Trump.”
Obviously, New Yorkers weren’t too pleased to find the Nazi symbol written multiple times on playground equipment at the Brooklyn park — so, hundreds of citizens gathered to protest the hate messages on Sunday!

Among those in the crowd spreading love was New York Senator Daniel Squadron and Yauch’s fellow Beastie Boy Adam Horovitz. Ad-Rock said was glad to see so many band together and protest against the offensive symbols:

“Everybody that heard about this came out. We got old friends and new friends.”

One of Horovitz’s friends was Ben Stiller, who said this isolated incident was part of a larger wave of hate crimes that have flooded the country in the weeks following Trump’s electoral win. He explained:

“It’s important for us to stand up and say it’s not all right. It’s important for the president-elect to say it’s not okay, too.”

Amen, Ben!
The Meet The Parents star called on the President-elect to take a stand against the intimidating threats happening across the country — you know, aside from calling out the cast of Hamilton for “harassing” Mike Pence.
Ch-ch-check out footage from the protest (below) to hear Ad-Rock’s full speech!
