Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez might be in the middle of a divorce, but he has nothing but kind words for her!
During a new interview with Entertainment Tonight out on Sunday, the actor praised J.Lo in their new movie, Unstoppable, which he produced and she stars in. While comparing the film to his other upcoming project Small Things Like These with Cillian Murphy, Ben said:
“Unstoppable is a very different movie than this, but in a way, it’s similarly rooted in the passion of really talented artists. Billy Goldenberg and Jennifer and Don Cheadle and Jharrel [Jerome], and Bobby Cannavale, all were really passionate about this film.”

He doubled down elsewhere, gushing:
“Jennifer is spectacular.”
Aw!
He went on to express that the sports movie is “another one that we’re really really proud of,” noting:
“We believed in the right people, and Unstoppable is another example of that.”
So sweet! It’s nice Ben can still be so complimentary and discuss Jennifer’s work despite the end of their marriage!
The movie premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this year, but Ben ditched the event to avoid an awkward run-in with his ex. It’ll hit theaters on December 6 and Amazon Prime Video on January 16. See the trailer (below):
