First Look At Bernadette Peters On SMASH!!

Broadway legend Bernadette Peters scored a guest star role on SMASH … and consider us all kinds of elated!
Bernadett is poised to play Leigh Conroy, Ivy’s overbearing mother in the next episode of the series. Channeling a bit of her real-life self, Bernadette’s character is also a Tony-award winning actress.
Really? Considering the phone call Ivy shared briefly with her in the pilot, we thought she was going to be the polar opposite. Like, Karen’s parents! Inneresting!
