Blake Lively‘s getting called out by a fellow It Ends With Us star! But we’re not surprised by it — cause it’s the on-screen doctor she dragged into her legal drama!
On Wednesday’s edition of Piers Morgan Uncensored, Piers Morgan was joined by Adam Mondschein, Justin Baldoni‘s best friend, who was hired to play the doctor in the controversial IEWU birthing scene. Amid her legal battle, Blake alleged she was “alarmed” by the hiring of the director’s friend rather than filling the role with “a local actor,” and she accused Justin of filming the “nearly nude” childbirth scene without following standard safety and privacy protocols, such as closing down the set for the intimate scene.

So, yeah, we weren’t surprised to hear Adam had some not great things to say about the leading lady after she reached a settlement with his pal!
During the interview, Adam slammed the “insulting” claims Blake brought against Justin, saying he feels “sorry for her”:
“I can’t imagine what it must be like to be inside of her mind. … I have very firm feelings about the actions that she took and she hurt my friend and has been hurting my friend.”
Adam also suggested the Jane the Virgin alum might tell all soon! He dished:
“I think he really wants to tell his story, and he deserves to be heard. To let sunlight in on this, has been the thing that I feel her camp has been avoiding.”
Justin’s remained incredibly quiet throughout this legal ordeal. It’d certainly be inneresting to finally hear more from him!
As for why he’s so betrayed, Adam said he fought for the Gossip Girl star to get the role, telling his friend he thought she was “perfect” for the main character. (Why was Justin getting so many outsiders’ opinions on casting?! LOLz!) Adam now regrets sticking up for Blake, though, since it “hurt his friend.” Addressing the very icky allegations the Five Feet Apart filmmaker faced, including sexual harassment and retaliation, Adam expressed:
“It is unbearable when someone misjudges you, when someone takes you out of context. The only thing I ever thought he was guilty of was sometimes being a little cheesy, but that’s it.”
Mondschein revealed he’s spoken to Justin since the settlement was reached, noting the celeb is “relieved” the case is closed and yet also “frustrated” that he won’t get his time in court. Adam is even “bummed” he won’t get to testify, he carried on:
“I think [his heart has been broken by this process]. It’s been weighing on him. The hardest thing for me is watching my friend wear the pain.”
This fight clearly took a lot out of everyone involved! Hear lots more in the full interview beginning at 13:53 (below):
