Blake Shelton Skewers The Bachelor On His Debut Episode Of Saturday Night Live!

That was a surprisingly funny episode of SNL!
This weekend saw Blake Shelton‘s first ever go at hosting Saturday Night Live, and he put in double duty.
Not only was he the featured guest, but he was the musical act too!

And while his country songs may have fallen a bit flat on the usually-lively stage, we were super impressed with his ability to play the straight man.
Blake is always the most funny part of The Voice, so we guess it’s not too big a shock that he was able to bring out the humor in his parody of fellow reality staple, The Bachelor.
Plus, the show was able to turn out a successful Shawshank Redemption parody, which isn’t something we ever thought we’d say!
