Bono, Musician and...Newspaper Columnist!

Rocker and sunglasses spokesman Bono is going to write a new guest column for the New York Times.

Cuz why not???

The column will cover a range of topics, but we can only imagine that its contents will be on the GOOP-y side.

Bono got the gig because Times editorial page editor, Andrew Rosentha, thinks that Bono “is an extraordinary man who thinks deeply about his art and the major issues confronting the world.”

And sunglasses.
