Boy Meets World's Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, & Rider Strong Pour Their Hearts Out About Ben Savage Estrangement, Reveal He BLOCKED Them!

Boy Meets World's Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, & Rider Strong Open Up About Ben Savage Estrangement

The Boy Meets World cast is opening up more about their estrangement from Ben Savage.

In case you didn’t hear, BMW stars Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and Rider Strong have discussed their falling-out with their co-star on several occasions. It seemingly came out of nowhere when they were working on getting their Pod Meets World started, and it left all three of them confused.

There weren’t really any hard feelings. Things happen, they’re all adults and could realize that! Danielle even suggested maybe he just didn’t want to relive the past through the podcast, which she thought was totally fair. But even so, after all this time, they haven’t gotten any answers as to why Ben ghosted them.

At the Tribeca Film Festival, the show’s documentary Doc Meets World premiered on Sunday, and US Weekly got a statement from Will about the whole situation. He said:

“I want to say it to his face.”

Danielle agreed, saying it would be “good” if they could all just talk it out! That’s likely not going to happen, though…

In the documentary, Rider actually confessed Ben had them blocked on everything! He said:

“Ben refused to do the [‘Pod Meets World’ recap] podcast, but we still communicated with him, still on friendly terms, we thought. He unfollowed us on Instagram and blocked our phone numbers. I feel sorry that he’s missing out on the experience that Danielle and Will and I are having.”

Oh, damn! That’s harsh.

Rider went on, saying the podcast has been a great “midlife crisis” for him, and that after some time apart after the show ended, it brought him and his old friends back together. He’s just sad Ben isn’t a part of it now.

Will even confessed in the documentary that he “probably at least once a month” will text Ben, hoping he’s been unblocked or that his TV brother will reply. He hopes that maybe Ben will “reach out one day”:

“I really do miss him. He’s arguably one of the funniest people I’ve ever met in my life.”

How sad…

We previously reported how Danielle, Will, and Rider are all very open to a reconciliation! But at this point, answers would be good, too.
