Fans feel very strongly that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s divorce is no laughing matter. (Except if you’re Jennifer Aniston, of course.)
Anywho, Brangelina stans got pretty pissed at Whoopi Goldberg on Tuesday after she joked about the longtime loves‘ big breakup.

ICYMI, the 60-year-old whipped out her best Valley Girl accent on The View and pretended to break down over the divorce drama.
But now, the comedienne is taking to social media to defend herself from the online backlash. The funny lady went on Twitter on Wednesday to explain that the split hadn’t been officially confirmed by the time they taped the show, writing:

But, just in case that wasn’t clear enough for the trolls, Miz Goldberg also posted a Facebook Live video saying she doesn’t like gossip… but was forced to announce the unconfirmed information anyway!
