Child Abuse Allegations Against Brad Pitt Reportedly Handed Over To The FBI

Whoa.
As we reported, Brad Pitt is currently under investigation after a September 14 incident on a private plane in which he allegedly got verbally abusive and a bit physical with the kids he shares with estranged wife Angelina Jolie.
Now, TMZ‘s law enforcement sources are saying the case is out of the LAPD‘s hands as the alleged incident occurred mid-air on a flight from France to the United States — which means it’s technically in the FBI‘s jurisdiction.

Although the LAPD’s Abused Child Unit (ACU) has closed it’s file and the FBI will be taking over, if the LAPD does end up finding any evidence that abuse occurred at the famous family’s California home, they will open a new case.
Meanwhile, Pitt insiders deny any abuse ever happened.
