Brandi Glanville is revealing the root cause of her health issue!
As you know, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has been struggling for years due to a facial parasite that left her with significant facial disfigurements. She has spent a lot of time and money trying to figure out the cause of the problem, and she finally has gotten to the bottom of it!

Speaking to TMZ outside her doctor’s office in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, Brandi revealed the boob job she got two decades ago is behind everything! OMG!
She explained:
“I definitely had a parasite. … Mine had completely ruptured, and I had silicone all over my lymph nodes. That’s what caused the infection in my face. It couldn’t get out as my lymph nodes were all clogged.”
Brandi shared that she was “shocked” when she found out her implants ruptured because they “looked” and “felt” fine for the past 20 years:
“Honestly, my implants I’ve had for 20 years almost. They looked fine, they felt fine, the mammogram said they were fine. It wasn’t until I had a sonogram. I was just feeling, maybe just check that too. Why not? I mean, I’d checked everything else, I went to 21 doctors, I spent so much money, and there is such a thing as breast-implant illness. You really should change your breast implants out at 10 years, and I just didn’t do it.”
The Bravo personality always thought “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it,” but she “learned a really, really hard lesson” that is not the case. Oof.
Now, Brandi is working to take care of her face by trying “lasers and different things.” She also removed her breast implants recently, which will hopefully help. The 53-year-old reality star added:
“It just sucks to age 20 years overnight.”
Despite her horrible experience, Brandi isn’t telling other people not to get breast implants since that is a decision someone should make on their own. She is urging everyone, however, to “stay on top of” maintaining them:
“You really have to be vigilant about getting your sonograms. Ask your doctor. … Listen, do it. Do what you want. Have a good time. Just keep on checking on it. Even if it looks good and feels good, check them.”
Hopefully, knowing what caused the parasite will now give Brandi some peace! Watch the entire TMZ interview (below):
