This is such a Macaulay Culkin thing to do!
One of our favorite love stories recently has been that of the Home Alone actor and his baby momma — and now fiancée — Brenda Song. It seems like every story we hear about them, their relationship just gets cuter and cuter — and their proposal story is no exception!

On Saturday, The London Times dropped an interview with the Suite Life actress and she finally revealed how Macaulay popped the question way back in December 2021! In a very silly, very on-brand way, she described her man as giving her “really weird presents” leading up to the proposal:
“He gave me a bunch of really weird presents, like, 21 individually wrapped gnomes, which I thought was a joke because we had so many in our garden. Another present was a box of Amazon stuff I said I’d return for him. I was like, ‘I’m not getting this joke’.”
LOLz!
The 44-year-old actor had other plans, though, and even got their son Dakota in on the romantic moment. Brenda continued:
“Then the last present was a letter written ‘from’ Dakota, like, ‘Papa is such a bad gift-giver, here’s something better to give Mom.’ And then he was down on one knee, proposing. He was like, ‘I wanted to lower your expectations.’ Which he did! But it was very sweet and very us. We’re big kids.”
Aww! Too funny and way too sweet! We LOVE these two.
