These College Football Players Have NO IDEA Who Britney Spears Is & It's Triggering

In a new video released by ESPN, college football players from LSU and Clemson tested their knowledge of all things ‘90s and, we regret to inform you, failed miserably when it came to knowing who Britney Spears is.

The players, born between 1998 and 2001, were given a series of images featuring icons of the decade. While a few of them were able to identify ancient artifacts like AOL, the band TLC, and the TV show Martin, literally NONE of them could identify Brit from a still of her …Baby One More Time video!

Many professed that they had never seen the superstar in their life, while one player guessed:

“It’s gotta be Lindsay Lohan or Hilary Duff.”

*gasp*

The worst response came from the player who made the following blasphemous comment:

“Can I tell you who I thought it was? Lady GaGa.”

What!? In the words of Greta Thunberg: how dare you! (Forget climate change, this not-knowing-who-Britney-Spears-is crisis needs our full attention.)
