Britney Spears could be in a lot more trouble than we originally thought…
As we previously reported, the pop star was arrested for a DUI in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. She went to the hospital to have her blood drawn to determine her blood alcohol content, which came out to be, as she’s reportedly been telling people, at a .06, below the legal limit of .08 in California. However, a dispatch audio revealed she was allegedly swerving in and out of lanes while speeding. New details about the situation are now coming out — and it’s not good!

Sources familiar with the investigation are now telling TMZ, however, cops found something in her car during her arrest. The insiders claimed that in addition to suspicion of DUI, there was an “unknown substance” found inside the vehicle, which will be part of the arrest! Uh oh! It’s unknown what that substance is, but it’s reportedly being tested right now. We’ll keep you posted if that information comes out.
Britney is due in court on May 4. Her manager, Cade Hudson, has since shared that she “is going to take the right steps and comply with the law,” adding:
“Her boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well being.”
Hopefully Britney is OK and gets whatever help she needs. Real, true, non-manipulative help!
