Britney Spears was allegedly swerving when cops pulled her over.
As we’ve been reporting, the pop star was arrested on Wednesday night for a DUI. She was taken to the hospital to have her blood drawn to figure out her blood alcohol content. Per TMZ, she’s been telling people her results were .06, below the legal limit of .08 in California. That said, it can still be an offense if caught driving erratically — which she apparently was!

Page Six and TMZ obtained dispatch audio that reveals a 2026 black convertible was spotted allegedly swerving in and out of lanes while speeding. An officer asked a dispatcher to “send all units down towards this area, please.” An officer was later heard pulling over the vehicle and having the driver step out. Later, a request for a DRE, a Drug Recognition Expert (someone who’s trained to do field sobriety evaluations), was requested at the scene, but it’s unclear if a field sobriety test was conducted. Ultimately, she was taken to the hospital to have BAC testing done, as mentioned.

Her car was towed to a tow yard, where it was photographed on Thursday morning. See HERE. It’s the same car she was driving when she was spotted allegedly driving erratically after leaving a Thousand Oaks restaurant last year.
Britney is expected back in court on May 4 for this incident. Her manager, Cade Hudson, said she’s been having a “difficult time” and that her inner circle is working on a plan to support her. She’s lucky nobody was hurt!
