We had a feeling Britney Spears’s latest song would be a hit, but Hold it Against Me is already breaking records!
The song, which is currently #1 on iTunes, has set a new one-day precedent for the most number of spins (radio plays) on its first day.
Radio industry analyst, Kevin McCabe, reveals:
├óΓé¼┼ôTop 40 outlets across the country immediately put Hold It Against Me in rotation and received instant-reaction airplay at America’s most-influential stations including Z100 and WXRK in New York and KIIS and KAMP in Los Angeles.├óΓé¼┬¥
In fact, Britney’s single had 595 plays according to findings by BDS and 619 spins according to Mediabase.
BritBrit is breaking records, ruling iTunes, and she’s also a current trending topic on Twitter at the moment.
