During this time of uncertainty, many are turning to their favorite influencers and celebrities for inspiration. On Monday, Britney Spears attempted to do her part of inspiring the masses by sharing an uplifting quote to her Instagram feed, which read:
“Speak boldly and with intellect. Never hush your voice for someone’s comfort. Speak your mind, make people uncomfortable.”

She accompanied the text image with a caption:
“Part of being bold ….. is making people uncomfortable ????⭐️☕️ !!!!!!!! PS ….. so how comfortable have people been with you lately ????? ???!!!”
And the reactions to her post were fairly mixed! Obviously, there were those who supported their queen, but believed there was a deeper meaning behind her words, considering son Jayden‘s recent actions:
“IT’S TIME FOR YOU TO SPEAK UP BBY. LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD ???❤️”
“Always the best most impactful quotes posted by you Britney ??????”
“is this lowkey shade??”
“Say something girl… spill the tea @britneyspears”
“Please keep posting. Your bravery give us strength. We love you and miss you but take time for yourself my queen ?”
Some also voiced concern with her behavior, with a few comments reading:
“Now is not the time Britney”
“Such a random post considering all that’s going on lol”
The 38-year-old followed up her confusing quote pic with two images of herself, along with the text:
“Sending out prayers and love to all of the families in this hard time ….. God Bless you all !!!!”

Brit’s confusing shares are the latest in a series of images and videos which have also left some fans feeling concerned about the Toxic songstress. While on a trip to Maui in late February, Miz Spears shared a video of her surrounded by birds and speaking in a British accent. Along with the clip, she wrote:
“I’ve never heard something so loud before in my life …. I felt like I was in a zoo !!!!! Such a cool day !!!! PS if you’re a bird then I’m a bird too …. pssss I get to be loud too wheeeee ???? !!!!!”

Though she appeared to be in good spirits, some commenters foresee this as being the start of another breakdown:
“Let’s all continue to pretend this is ok.”
