With a new album in the works and possibly even some sitcom opportunities, it sounds like Britney Spears is going to have yet ANOTHER busy year ahead of her!
BritBrit’s X Factor fate, however, is one that’s yet to be determined!
Today, during the Fox TCA presentation, Fox prez Kevin Reilly mentioned that while he’d want to bring her back for a second season, no talks have occured!
The reasoning behind the decision delay???
Well, for one, Simon Cowell’s been too busy frolicking around with his ex-girlfriends on holiday to even get the chance to sit in on any meetings!
Come on, Si! We don’t think we can wait much longer!!!
As for how Reilly thinks our beloved Britney did this past season?
The network head stated:
“I think Britney did a really good job. She came on, people remain fascinated by her and always will be. People got to know her a little bit, maybe some people were waiting for more drastic displays of some nature that never came├óΓé¼┬ªShe tucked in really nicely on that bench.”
Reilly also added that while ratings were down this season from last, he thought it was “a better show this year” and that it was “excellent.”
Guess we’ll just have to wait until Simon gets back to business to find out if Mz. Spears will be returning!
