Britney's Vanishing Act

Uh oh! Something very curious has happened!

Several PerezHilton.com readers have emailed us to let us know that the MTV Video Music Awards aired in parts of Europe this past weekend and Britney‘s disastrous performance was cut from the show!!!!

Instead, the program started with Sarah Silverman‘s comedic monologue.

Is this because Britney didn’t want her “performance” in the show anymore or does MTV think that rebroadcasting Spear’s performance hurt ratings???

Why has Britney vanished????
