Different strokes for different folks! Oh man, in this context that sounds SO dirty all of a sudden!
Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter will take some time to address their somewhat unconventional (and now former) relationship on this week’s upcoming episode of The Hills, set to air Monday, September 2.
And based on new video footage teasing the one-time couple’s onscreen interaction, it appears there may be something more to this Miley Cyrus relationship than we realized!

As you can see in the video teaser (below), the hit MTV reality show takes its turn trying to define Brody and Kaitlynn’s relationship — you know, back before things turned sour this summer. And while it’s tough to pin down these two squirrelly reality stars, there’s clearly some sort of sexy mischief afoot!
It all starts with a phone call from one of Kaitlynn’s friends, who asks about a rumor being pushed about the pair by none other than reality TV villain extraordinaire Stephanie Pratt:
Ahhh…. VERY interesting!!!!
Stephanie apparently thinks they had a “polyamorous relationship.”
Reality TV-style editing acknowledged, it’s eyebrow-raising to see Brody get so defensive so quickly about what goes on between him and Kaitlynn. After Carter’s friend stumbles through the rumors about “someone else, like, involved” with the pair, the longtime reality vet shoots back immediately with his own admonition (below):
“That’s none of her business. You know, we just, we like what we like.”
Amen! Don’t we all like what we like though! LOLz!
Also, the second part of that quote… did you see Kaitlynn’s face when he said it?! Yeahhh… a smile is worth a thousand words sometimes! Ha!!!

Speaking of Brody’s now-ex girlfriend (and nearly ex-wife!), she also opened up in a confessional interview about the same topic. In it, she spoke directly to the camera about the early days of her courtship with Caitlyn Jenner‘s son, saying (below):
“When Brody and I first were together, we were young, we were crazy, we were, like, you know, basically just trying to have the time of our lives. So we did a lot of things in our relationship that, you know, I certainly wouldn’t say I regret, but the level of gossip that I feel happens in the group — it just makes me angry.”
Very careful with her words… What kinds of “things in our relationship” might those be, Kaitlynn???
The 30-year-old doesn’t reveal more than that… but reading between the lines about them being “young” and “crazy” and “trying to have the time of our lives” really makes the mind race, doesn’t it???

And suddenly, this report seems to have a little more context, especially in light of what happened after the two couples split… just sayin’!!!
We’ve seen some speculation Brody and Kaitlynn had a little swing time with Miley and Liam Hemsworth during all those beach hangs, but we never saw anything to base that on. It certainly would explain why Brody is suddenly so chill with hanging out with his ex and her new GF. Makes you wonder…
