We were hoping Brooke Shields was trying to make a fashion statement when she showed up at Monday night’s Met Gala walking with a cane.
Unfortunately, the walking stick was more than just an accessory to her black lace J Mendel dress and Tiffany & Co. jewels.
The actress revealed that she recently injured the meniscus in her knee while playing Morticia Addams in The Addams Family on Broadway.
Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery, Brooke!
And don’t worry about that whole cane thing. You fit right in.
