Bullied Teen Responds To Morbid Prank In The Most Uplifting Way Possible!

Caitlin Prater-Haacke
Caitlin Prater-Haacke might have been the victim of bullying, but she didn’t get mad, and she didn’t get even; she got positive.
When the Airdrie, Alberta, teen’s locker was broken into and her bully posted that she should die on her own Facebook, Caitlin knew that something had to change.
So what did she do?
She bought hundreds of Post-it Notes, wrote uplifting messages on them, and stuck them up all around the school; one for each student. The teen spoke to The National about her efforts, saying:

“It takes two seconds, and it shows somebody that you really care.”

While her notes of love were well-received by her peers and even strangers around town, the school found the extra paper to be a bit of a nuisance.
But, the Airdire City Council liked Caitlin’s response to her negative aggressor so much, that they actually put in a resolution to make a local Positive Post-it Note Day in her honor.

We’re so happy that Caitlin was able to take something as potentially damning as bullying and turn the situation into a learning experience of love for everyone around her!
Plus, the bullies have to live knowing they gave Caitlin her 15 minutes of fame, which is probably some pretty sweet revenge for her too.
Ch-ch-check out Cailtin and her Post-it notes in action (below)!!!
