You can call her, maybe definitely!
Carly Rae Jepsen is finally fulfilling one of her life-long dreams and is making her way to Broadway right next to Fran Drescher in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella!
It’s an interesting mix, and quite a shift for the show casting wise. Still, we’ll reserved our Broadway judgement until their opening night.
The Call Me Maybe singer revealed her magical news to the world on Twitter, she tweeted:
Sooooo… I'm ready to spill my NYC secret.

If nothing else, this definitely is the best first Broadway role for Carly. Who doesn’t want to be a princess?! And remember when she did release a cover of Part Of Your World when Disney rereleased The Little Mermaid in October! She’s already channeled her inner royalty!
The songstress will be taking the stage alongside The Nanny star, who will be playing her evil stepmother, Madam!
Carly Rae said of her new role as Cinderella:
“It’s so hopeful and inspiring. I’ve always been one to believe in the impossible, so I relate to her character completely.”
Well Carly, we can’t think of a better way to start a career on Broadway!
Congrats on your first role!!
