Cats FINALLY Cuts That One Really Racist Song After 35 Years!

This is just the cat’s pajamas!
It only took them 35 years… but the musical Cats is officially suitable for everyone now that it no longer features racist lyrics.
Fans of the Broadway classic are probably aware that the song Growltiger’s Last Stand regularly causes controversy due to characters Asparagus and Jellylorum singing with stereotypical Asian accents.

Most productions of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical already do away with the disgusting line “With a frightful burst of fireworks the Ch*nks they swarmed aboard,” but the 2016 New York revival has reportedly gotten rid of the song entirely!
We bet that’ll make Leona Lewis happy!!
Still, we’re a little bothered it really took them 35 years to fix it…
