At least someone is doing something about this!
Last night, Larry King held a telethon on CNN to raise funds for three amazing charities who are providing aid in the Gulf. The spill has left a lot of people and wildlife stranded and the money that was raised last night will surely be put to good use.
Helping Larry out was a slew of celebs including Ryan Seacrest, Nicole Richie, Kathy Griffin, Ian Somerhalder, Chelsea Handler, Sam Trammell and Ke$ha! Look, she washed her face…sort of!
In total, the telethon raised over $1.3 million for the oil spill relief! Fantastic!
If you didn’t donate last night, make sure to look into ways to help the relief effort in anyway you can. This spill is devastating and anything you can give or do will be much appreciated.
Bravo to the celebs who donated their time and talent to such an important cause!
