Family first!
Charlie Sheen is rooting for his dad, Martin Sheen to get an Academy Award nomination for his role in The Way, written and directed by Charlie’s brother Emilio Estevez.
Martin has previously won a Golden Globe, an Emmy, and several SAG awards, however he has yet to receive an Oscar.
On Twitter, Charlie wrote, in poetic verse BTW:
the time is NOW!
my father, Martin Sheen,
is currently starring in
“The Way,” written and
directed by my brother,
Emilio Estevez..!
And… he has given the best
performance of his career!
Academy Award ballots are due
next Friday and we need to insure
that Martin gets nominated.
