Is Charlize Theron looking to get her own windmill scenario??
The Bombshell star should be flirting with another Oscar for her uncannily accurate portrayal of Megyn Kelly, but instead she’s apparently flirting with the new Bachelor!
Over the weekend Charlize posted an Instagram photo of herself standing next to a bus ad for the upcoming season of The Bachelor — premiering on January 6, btw.
And her message could definitely be interpreted as angling for her own rose from star Peter Weber!

She posted:
And she captioned the photo:
“Turbulence I like”
Yeah, seems pretty flirty to us!
We know Charlize is a fan. She told James Corden on The Late Late Show last year she has a rather intimate relationship with the reality show:
“I basically feel like I am dating The Bachelor, like, the show. On Monday nights because my kids can’t read a clock yet so I get them to bed at like 5:45 and then I open a bottle of wine, take a bath, I get all ready and that’s my date night. I date the show.”
But is she trying to date the show’s newest lead? He certainly thinks so!
Pilot Pete responded with his own IG post back at the Mad Max: Fury Road star, posing in front of one of her ads for Dior:
He wrote:

Breezing right by how that’s the last thing you ever want to hear a pilot say, he’s definitely going for it. And we aren’t the only one who thinks so!
Former Bachelorette contestant Colton Underwood commented:
“Shoot your shot!”
And Bachelor host Chris Harrison tipped his hat as well, writing:
“Well played kid…well played”
Could this really be happening??
It’s now well-established sexy celebs can use social media to get in touch with and date Bachelor Nation stars. Demi Lovato reached out to Mike Johnson and reportedly had a nice casual thing going for a bit. And of course Gigi Hadid and Tyler Cameron made headlines after their IG flirtation. Probably the biggest success story was between Modern Family star Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams, who eventually got engaged after flirting online.
However, Peter’s season has already been filming for a couple months. So he’s ostensibly spent all that time finding the love of his life, and now he’s flirting with a movie star on Instagram? Really?!
Well, it wouldn’t be that surprising a move if you believe his ex. If you recall, Calee Lutes claimed the two were in a serious relationship for six months before he suddenly ghosted her to vie for the love of Hannah Brown, having interviewed to be on the show “while simultaneously planning a future with” her. He responded by saying the show had “absolutely nothing to do with” the breakup. Hmm.
Seems to us like turbulence isn’t that fun after all.
